Zendaya defends “pervy” Wonderland magazine cover

Zendaya has taken to Instagram to defend her Wonderland magazine cover in a short but sweet lighthearted statement:

Her post was in response to people who have described the cover as “pervy” mainly because of her suggestive pose–if you have a dirty mind, you’ll probably think it looks like she’s masterbating. But she’s really not. In actuality, she looks stunning in the cover so it’s a bit weird that it’s attracted such negativity. Some of you just can’t handle the sexiness.

Debbie Tepe, said “I can state my belief she is being dishonest when she claims the hand placement “was not intentional”. I think BOTH hands were strategically positioned to be provocative. No woman posing for a photo INADVERTENTLY pushes one hand between her legs (on – or darn near – her crotch) and puts the other on/near her breast, esp. while arching her back – it just doesn’t happen. And moreover, even if it could have happened unintentionally – choosing the “pervy” shot for her album cover was a conscious choice.”

Another user took to Instagram to say: “This is disgusting. You know nothing of yourself.”

Some gave a half positive, half negative remark: “Damn Wonderland did you wrong…you look beautiful but the styling is so bad.”

Never mind the haters, Zendaya. People need to get their minds out of the gutter but to us the cover is perfect–we love everything about it!
