Usher and other artists to feature in Discovery Channel series this summer

Usher, Christina Aguilera, Ellie Goulding, Steven Tyler, Joan Jett and Dave Matthews are set to team up with the Discovery Channel on a program about nature. The six-part series will take a look at the natural world through narration and music. Sounds good, right?
Beginning on the 9th of July, the series called Hello World! is being made in association with the World Wildlife Fund and will share stories of the animal kingdom. Rich Ross, the group president of Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Science Channel said, “All of these artists bring a powerful love for wildlife and the environment, and we cannot wait to share these films with families across the world,” while his colleague Terry Macko, senior vp communications and marketing at WWF, added: “As we’re faced daily with news and information about the declining state of our natural world, this series brings a hopeful message that bridges generations to inspire conservationists of any age.”
Usher’s episode will feature his song Stronger and will focus on a sea turtle and a red fox facing adversity–the song fits perfectly as a means of displaying the resilience and strength of these animals. Aguilera’s episode, on the other hand, uses her song Light Up the Sky and showcases the strategies of strong maternal caregivers including a mountain goat and a cheetah.
By the looks of it, this is bound to be an exciting, family-fun series. It’s such a good idea to get popular music artists involved as it will definitely attract more viewers and make the series even more engaging.
