Tyson Beckford and DJ Ruckus in brawl over supermodel

Tyson Beckford got into a scruff with his old pal DJ Rukus on Thursday night over his ex-girlfriend, supermodel Shanina Shaik. Beckford and Shaik met in 2008 on a reality competition TV show, dated and broke up but remained friends ever since. Rukus then swept in taking Shaik as his own–they’re now engaged to be married.

As a violation of the “bro code”, Beckford was naturally unhappy with Rukus’ move on his ex-girl and likewise, Rukus wasn’t happy with his fiance and Beckford still being friends. This led to them catching sight of each other outside an NY club and throwing punches in an all-out brawl.

No one was too badly injured but police were called. Both parties fled the scene before anyone was arrested.
