Mark Salling to face federal indictment for child pornography charges

Everyone’s ex-favourite bad boy from Glee is turning out to be a real-life baddie who has put himself on the ugly side of the law.
Crime Watch Daily is reporting that the U.S. Attorney’s Office is in the process of filing paperwork in Los Angeles for a federal indictment against Mark Salling. The actor will be indicted for possessing child pornography–this means he’ll be going head-to-head with the police.
Mark was first arrested in December last year after his personal devices were seized and were found to contain thousands of indecent images and videos of children. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit served a search warrant at his home in California and placed him under arrest upon finding incriminating evidence. It is still not known what or who led the feds to him.
If convicted of receiving child porn, Mark faces a minimum sentence of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison. On the charge of possessing child porn, he could receive 20 years.
