KimYe threaten to sue gossiping former bodyguard
We’ve been hearing a lot recently from Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s former bodyguard and ex-NYPD cop Steve Stanulis, who branded Kanye as a control freak, spoiled and outright childish. He made Kanye sound like a bit of a lunatic nightmare and now, according to TMZ, he’s facing a $30 million lawsuit over his accusations of the couple.
KimYe have decided to take action against their former employee, calling him a “parasitic manic” and saying that everything Stanulis said was completely false.
“The West Family will no longer tolerate the spreading and selling of fake stories in a desperate, transparent and shameless attempt for publicity at their expense,” a rep for the West family told the Daily News. “This sad, parasitic maniac has violated every basic human tenet of decency with his story of lies. As such, the Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense.”
The only way for Stanulis to avoid a payout is to stop talking about the couple and to give a public apology. Apparently, Stanulis was made to sign a confidentiality agreement meaning he was never allowed to talk about his time with KimYe in the first place.
Stanulis was also set to shoot a short film about his time with the Wests, titled Kimye but it’s unlikely that it’s going to happen anymore.
