Kendall and Kylie Jenner to release second fictional book

Regan Arts has announced that it will publish Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s new young adult novel, Time of the Twins. It’s the second book in the sisters’ sci-fi adventure–it follows Lex, a rebellious orphan, and her twin sister, Livia, a pampered heiress, as they make a grueling journey in search of the mother they thought was dead.

Sounds fun, right? Unfortunately, the sisters’ first book Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia didn’t do to well, and got pretty unfavorable reviews all round. You can view some of those reviews here, here, here and here. It’s unlikely that this new book will make a better impact than the first one but we certainly hope it does.

Talking about the new book, publisher Judith Regan said, “Kendall and Kylie have created a technicolor world that will captivate readers and fans of all ages. We are also excited that they are inspiring young adults to read great fiction.”

Kendall and Kylie seem excited about the upcoming release, with Kendall sharing a photo of the manuscript in progress on Twitter:

We’ll have to see how this book fairs with critics. TIME OF THE TWINS, THE STORY OF LEX AND LIVIA is set to hit stores on 15 November.
