A first look at Charlize Theron in 'Fast 8'

With Fast 8 pushing on with its April 2017 release, it’s always nice to see teasers of the progress and what’s happening on set. They’ve so far managed to pull off a strong cast with the usuals Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Nathalie Emmanuel along with newcomers Scott Eastwood and Kristofer Hivju joining the crew. It’s looking to be another thrilling, action-packed installment.

Yesterday, we got our first official look at Charlize Theron’s villainous character in the film, Cipher. Although we know virtually nothing about the character, from the teaser we can gather that she’s a heavy metal fan, signaled by her Metallica t-shirt.

Now, all that’s left is for them to confirm what we’ve all be hoping for–Helen Mirren to star in the high adrenaline film. *Crosses fingers*

Fast 8 hits theaters on April 17, 2017 and is the first in a new trilogy of Fast and Furious films. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!
