Liam Hemsworth admits his break-up with Miley Cyrus was needed

In an interview with GQ Australia, Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth has admitted that despite the break-up between him and long-term girlfriend Miley Cyrus being hard, it “needed to happen”. He told the magazine: “at the time we were going in different directions and it’s just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time — we both needed that.”
The couple called off their engagement in 2013, and it wasn’t much of a surprise considering that this was during a period where Miley was going through her rebellious phase. With Liam being more of an introvert and Miley being a wild, free spirit, it’s clear the two personalities clash and Liam couldn’t deal with the wild side anymore.
As Miley has toned down quite considerably, her relationship with Liam seems to be improving. He indicated indirectly to GQ that he and Miley were serious again saying: “…people will figure it out, they already have… They’re not dumb.”
Not only were they spotted on a cinema date but they were also spotted holding hands on the way back from visiting Liam’s family in Australia. According to MailOnline and UsWeekly, the couple went down under to plan for a summer beach wedding with sources saying: “They were discussing potential venues and looking around.”
Meanwhile, Miley has also been bonding with Liam’s future sister-in-law Elsa Pataky as the pair got matching wave tattoos late last month. Miley’s tattoo artist, Lauren Winzer, posted the photo on Instagram revealing the matching artwork with the caption: “Stoked to do these little matching custom waves @kellyslater drew up for @mileycyrus @kalanimiller @elsapatakyconfidential @aprilmun.”

The reconciliation between the couple seems to be going well so we wonder if there will be wedding bells chiming between the two soon, if ever at all. Are they compatible enough? We really hope so!
