Khloe Kardashian files for divorce from Lamar Odom for the second time

Khloe Kardashian has filed for divorce from ex-NBA player Lamar Odom for the second time. After filing for divorce for the first time in December 2013, the paperwork remained at the courthouse without being processed because Khloe wanted to try and salvage the relationship. When Lamar then took a turn for the worse and overdosed last October, Khloe didn’t think it was the right moment go through with the divorce as it was a particularly difficult and unstable time.

She hoped the two of them could reconcile but that’s no longer an option. After seeing Lamar drinking again, Khloe has had enough and filed for divorce for the same reason as last time–irreconcilable differences.

Apparently, there’s a prenup in place and the pair have already agreed on a property settlement so it’s just a matter of waiting. In California, divorce can only become final after 6 months.

In those 6 months of waiting, who knows if things could change. They may decide to try again.
