Kate Beckinsale, queen of pranks

Kate Beckinsale is a vision of elegance and sophistication so it was hilarious and bizarre to hear that she is a notorious prankster.

She revealed on last night’s UK airing of The Graham Norton Show that she enjoys travelling with a two-piece pantomime horse costume to cheer her up when she’s down–something she did with her ex-partner Michael Sheen sometimes.

She also mentioned that when someone falls asleep next to her it can be dangerous because she enjoys gluing beards on to people and drawing tattoos on them while they catch some Zs.

She recalled the time that she did an “impromptu” prank because she was “still after the rush of doing it”:

“I got one of those little chocolates that you get by the bed and I thought “how funny would it be if I just tucked it in between the person’s buttock while they’re asleep?” which caused a lot of laughter from the audience and the other celebrity guests, including Matt LeBlanc, Emilia Clarke and Dominic Cooper.

Kate continued by saying she thought she’d get caught and get in trouble but her victim was in a rush the next morning and got dressed quickly without noticing the piece of chocolate wedged into their backside.

“Halfway through the day at work there was the [reaction], and then kind of a bit of a scuttle backwards to the loo, and then the horror, horror, horror of ‘I’ve done this without even feeling it!’”

As she finished the story, she had everyone in fits of laughter! Unfortunately, she didn’t reveal the identity of her victim.
